A further "homeless" rock, which finds its place on this side, is the so-called "flame agate from Chihuahua". It was imported to Idar Oberstein in the early 1980ies "from Mexico...", The exact finding-location is so far unknown to me. It is a vein-like formation of a Chalcedony with flame-like pattern in red and brown tones. The width of the veins reaches about 15 cm in the maximum.
